The current period of recycling will finish on Thursday as planned, after which the machines will all travel back to the Agency depot. The bulldozer will be retained and will remove the worst of the track marks the dumptrucks leave behind.
Next week he will deal with any cliffing the forecast gales for today and tomorrow are likely to bring.
I hope the recent works have not been inconvenient, but they are a necessary part of the overall maintenance strategy.
The next similar exercise is likely to be either just before or just after Xmas, though precise timings will depend on the weather we experience between now and the end of the year.
