The first recycle operation of the autumn/winter will start on Wednesday 29th September, when shingle will be moved by dumptruck along the beach.
Areas of work will once again be as follows:
Cooden to Herbrand Walk
Herbrand Walk to Normans Bay East and possibly Beachlands
Beachlands camp site to Beachlands (east end)
Beachlands centre to Beachlands eastern end
Sovereign Harbour Martello tower to Sovereign Harbour rock revetment
The likely period of work will be 3 to 4 days in each location though the precise duration and start date for each will depend on the weather and tides. Work will begin at Sovereign Harbour.
No work will be done before 07:00 or after 17:00 Monday to Friday. If work is necessary on a Saturday it will be between 07:00 and 13:00.
I will try and provide regular updates during the works to let you know when work is moving from one area to another.
