2005 Beach - News - 31st August

Two deliveries have now been completed at Beachlands, and given the current weather forecast there is no reason to suppose that any time will be lost in the coming days. If that is the case the final delivery will be on Monday 5th September.

Because of the storm on 24th August more shingle that anticipated was lost from the Sovereign Harbour foreshore and it may be that one final load is required to bring the total beach volume up to where we would like it before the start of autumnal gales. We will decide once all the surveys have been processed and in light of what weather we actually receive in the next few days.
