2006 Beach - News - 21st September

It is now likely that available shingle will have been moved from in front of the Camping & Caravan Camp site by lunchtime tomorrow. Machines will therefore move down to Normans Bay East for the afternoon to start work transferring shingle from the outfall area to the boatyard/public toilet area.

All plant will be parked up by Normans Bay outfall over the weekend.

Work will continue on Monday and as the week progresses the source will move east towards East Stream, with this shingle being added to the eastern end of the village near ‘Hideaway’ and ‘Beach Crest’.
